How does pay-as-you-play billing work?
You pay a small monthly reservation that holds your server, world data and IP, plus an hourly rate only while the server is online. Both come out of your prepaid credit balance, and you never pay more than your tier's monthly cap.
Do I pay while my server is offline?
No. Stop the server and the hourly meter stops with it — to the minute. Only the reservation keeps running, so your world and address are always there when you come back.
What happens if my credits run out?
Your server is paused, never deleted. Top up your balance and it comes back online automatically within moments — world, mods and settings untouched.
Can I switch tiers or games later?
Yes. Upgrade or downgrade your tier at any time and the server is resized on the panel, including its backup, database and port limits. You can also change the server type (e.g. Paper → Fabric) from the panel.
Can I install mods, plugins and my own world?
Every server comes with the full Calagopus panel: live console, file manager, and one-click controls. Upload mods, plugins and worlds freely on every tier.
How fast is setup?
Instant. Once your payment is confirmed the server is provisioned automatically — typically live within 30 seconds.
